What was involved?
In my back garden Ken took up old decking and paved it and did some garden fencing. In the front, he took up some cobblelock and he's put down some beautiful stones, a pathway to my door, and a granite step to the house.

How did you choose Expert Decking Landscaping and Patios?
I found Ken on pickapro.ie. To be honest, I went through his testimonials and I liked the sound of him, very professional and very personable. And that's exactly as I found him. I'd already had 3 other landscapers out to look at the garden, but within 5 minutes, I knew Ken was definitely the right person for the job. Then, I was so happy with the back garden, I asked Ken to do the front.

Had you definite ideas in mind before you talked to Ken Eccles?
I did I suppose. I knew I wanted some sort of paving, and after that I wasn't so sure.

Did Ken introduce new ideas?
He did, I felt we worked very much as a team. First Ken asked me what I liked, then he came up with some ideas. He sketched it out an idea and left it with me but I knew straight away I liked it.

How did the project run?
I have to say, Ken was excellent on all fronts. He was a great worker and the workmanship is great. He really goes the extra mile - he even stopped work one day and drove me to B&Q! The lighting we were going for wasn't working out and Ken kept saying, no, I really want you to like this, don't settle for something you don't want. After the B&Q trip, we put downlighters on the fence instead of uplighters from the ground and believe it or not, it's the favourite feature of my garden now. It was that finishing touch. Ken really wanted to make sure I got what I wanted. He was willing to change as we went along which was something else I found great.

Ken was here every day, and he was very reliable. I mentioned some dust had gone into my neighbour's house, and he actually hosed down her garden too. He was very good in every way.

What was the biggest benefit to you of using Expert Decking Landscaping and Patios?
We definitely communicated well, it was team work. Ken didn't force his ideas on me - we worked together, and it was important to him that I got what I wanted. He was professional but very personal too. It's great to find somebody that's reliable and that you're happy with.

What's your favourite part now?
The patio lighting - I can sit out there at nighttime and enjoy the night sky. It just finishes it off. Ken really went that extra mile with me on the lighting,

Would you recommend Expert Decking Landscaping and Patios to others?
Definitely, without a doubt. It was certainly money well spent, and I would have no hesitation in recommending Ken to anybody.

Do their research and look around. That's how I ended up with Ken. Try and get recommendations and see their work. Take your time.
